Purpose and scope
This Safety Policy describes the content moderation, trust, and safety practices that Fever Muse applies to protect users and maintain a lawful, consent-forward platform. It applies to all users, all content generated through the Service, and all interactions with AI companions. This policy operates alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and other legal policies.
Adult-only platform boundary
Fever Muse is exclusively for adults aged 18 and older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). Age verification is required before any adult content is accessible. We implement age gating at the point of entry and reserve the right to require additional identity or age verification as mandated by applicable law. Access by minors is strictly prohibited, and any account found to belong to a minor will be immediately terminated and its data deleted.
Consent-forward design principles
The platform is designed with consent as a foundational principle. Users set their own boundaries, content preferences, and intensity levels, and companions are designed to respect those boundaries. Content generation is guided by user-configured limits and platform-wide safety rules. The system is built to ensure that interactions remain within the scope of what users have expressly opted into, and users can adjust or tighten their boundaries at any time.
Prohibited content
The following content is strictly prohibited on the platform and may not be generated, requested, stored, or distributed through the Service: any sexual or exploitative content involving minors, whether real or fictional; non-consensual sexual violence or content that glorifies or promotes real-world sexual assault; content depicting or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form; content intended to facilitate real-world violence, terrorism, or harm to identifiable persons; content that facilitates human trafficking, exploitation, or coercion; content designed to harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate real persons; content that promotes or provides instructions for illegal activity including fraud, drug manufacturing, or weapons creation; deepfakes or synthetic media of real persons without their consent; and any other content that violates applicable law. This list is not exhaustive. Fever Muse reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, what constitutes prohibited content.
Content moderation and enforcement
Fever Muse employs a combination of automated safety filters and policy checks integrated into the generation pipeline to detect and prevent prohibited content before it is delivered. Policy violations are logged as safety events with relevant metadata for audit and enforcement purposes. Enforcement actions may include: blocking or filtering specific requests in real time; issuing warnings to the user account; temporarily restricting access to specific features; suspending the account pending review; permanently terminating the account; preserving evidence and reporting to law enforcement where content involves the exploitation of minors, threats of violence, or other serious criminal activity. Enforcement decisions are made in accordance with the severity of the violation, the user's history, and applicable legal obligations.
Memory and continuity safeguards
Because Fever Muse emphasizes long-term relationship continuity through memory systems, transparency and user control over stored memory are critical safety features. Users can inspect all memory items associated with their companion interactions, correct inaccurate memory entries, delete individual memories or bulk-clear memory categories, and export their memory data. Memory systems are subject to the same safety rules as conversation content — prohibited content will not be persisted in memory, and safety filters apply to memory recall as well as generation.
Well-being considerations
Fever Muse is designed to provide an intimate, premium experience without employing manipulative, exploitative, or addictive design patterns. The platform does not use dark patterns to encourage excessive spending, casino-style reward mechanisms to drive compulsive use, deceptive interfaces that obscure costs or commitments, or emotional manipulation to prevent users from leaving or cancelling. We are actively developing well-being nudges for prolonged sessions and cost-awareness prompts for high-spend interactions. The Service is not a substitute for human connection, therapy, or mental health support.
Media generation safety
Image and video generation features are subject to the same content policies as text-based interactions. All media generation requests pass through content safety filters before processing. Media outputs are quota-limited by plan tier to prevent abuse and ensure quality. Cost previews are shown before generation to ensure informed consent to spend. Generated media is stored securely and subject to the same access controls and retention policies as other user data.
Reporting
If you encounter content or behavior on the platform that you believe violates this Safety Policy, applicable law, or that poses a risk of harm, please report it to us. Reporting mechanisms are available within the platform interface and will continue to be expanded. All reports are reviewed and acted upon in accordance with our enforcement procedures. We take reports involving minors, threats of violence, and potential criminal activity with the highest priority and will cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
Cooperation with law enforcement
Fever Muse will cooperate with law enforcement agencies in accordance with applicable law. We may disclose user information and content in response to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants. In cases involving imminent threats to life, the safety of a child, or other exigent circumstances, we may proactively report to and cooperate with relevant authorities without prior legal process where permitted by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Safety Policy from time to time as our safety practices evolve and as legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised policy with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
